Volunteers are highly valued.

We recognize that volunteers play a vital role not only in society by helping to serve and walk with those living with poverty in Peel; volunteers partner with us to work for peace, dignity and justice.
Volunteers function as highly visible role models within our communities. Each year we rely on volunteers to be a part of our team to assist with programs, meals, food bank, tutoring, after-school clubs, building maintenance, day camps, and a wide variety of seasonal and special events.
Volunteers make an incredible difference in our ability to provide effective programs to the community. We are most grateful to each individual and group who gives his or her time and talents to make a difference to community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel – Volunteers Brampton

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel
For just a few hours a couple of times a month, you can help a child succeed. Big Brothers Big Sisters is different from other mentoring organizations in that we seek volunteers who are committed and consistent, willing to serve at least a year, but we hope until a child graduates high school. Studies show that by doing so, our mentoring services help kids stay in school, avoid risky behaviour, and experience first-hand the importance of helping others in their community.
